On the programme will be a selection of movements from Keiskamma Carnival and several traditional Xhosa songs. Some of our new orchestral students will also be featured at the concert.
Keiskamma Carnival is our first truly inter disciplinary work with Keiskamma Art Project.
Based on the work Carnival of the Animals by Saint Saens, our Keiskamma Carnival score was arranged by Cape town composer Allan Stephenson, through a generous commission by SAMRO Foundation.
